Summary
The document presents data for National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) eligibility of up to 20 archaeological sites on Department of Defense land at Holloman Air Force Base. A total of 22 sites were examined for NRHP eligibility. Based on the results of the evaluations, three sites are recommended eligible to the NRHP, LA 108090 (historic), -
108091 (prehistoric) and -108092 (prehistoric). The remaining sites lacked subsurface cultural deposits, a diverse assemblage, datable materials, or general integrity. The research potential for the remaining 19 sites was exhausted with site evaluations, site mapping, artifact analysis, condition report and updates to the site forms.
