Summary
On 10 and 11 February 2021, archaeologists with the Swift River-Versar Joint Venture conducted National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) evaluations at six sites on Melrose Air Force Range, Cannon Air Force Base, Roosevelt County, New Mexico. Two sites were verified, assemblages were documented, and contextual integrity evaluated. The remaining four sites could not be located. None of the evaluated sites are recommended eligible for inclusion in the NRHP. The remaining sites did not retain adequate integrity to be considered eligible under any of the criteria outlined in 36 Code of Federal Regulations § 60.4.
