Author(s): Christopher Ryan

Year: 2013

Summary

This document is the Section 106 consultation package submitted by Vandenberg Air Force Base (VAFB) to the Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Indians for the Union Pacific Narlon Bridge Replacement Project. VAFB applied the criteria of adverse effect and determined granting a temporary construction easement to the UPRR to support their replacement of the Narlon Bridge would not alter, directly or indirectly, any of the characteristics of the historic properties within the APE that qualify those properties for inclusion in the National Register. As such, VAFB’s Section 106 finding for the proposed undertaking is no adverse effect to historic properties.
