VAFB-2005-04: Archaeological Investigations in Support of the Military Family Housing Expansion Project, Vandenberg Air Force Base, CA

Summary

This document is a report that presents the results of archaoelogical investigations for the Military Family Housing Expansion Project. The study included (1) survey, (2) absence/ presence testing, and (3) National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) eligibility testing. The three phases of investigation were designed to identify archaeological resources in the vicinity, determine the extent of identified archaeological resources, and evaluate selected resources for significance according to criteria for inclusion on the NRHP. Additionally, assessments of potential adverse effects were made for resources considered NRHP eligible.
