Summary
This Memorandum is in reply to a request for a preliminary assessment of archaeological work which may be required for the proposed San Antonio Creek Flood Control Project at VAFB. The project area was as yet undetermined, so mapping and recommendations are aimed at identifying archaeological work that may be needed in the general area.
Given the working project boundaries, nine archaeological sites are situated within the project area and will require assessment and evaluation to determine necessary mitigation measures.
