Summary
This document is a SYBCI transmittal letter regarding the 30th Space Wing of the United States Air Force's proposal to grant a temporary construction easement to the Union Pacific Railroad for the purposes of reconstructing the Narlon Bridge as it crosses San Antonio Creek on North Base at Vandenberg Air Force Base (VAFB). VAFB determined that the temporary construction easement grant is a federal action subject to compliance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, as amended, and the implementing regulations [36 CFR Part 800] and initiated consultation with the Santa Ynez Band of Chumash Indians regarding impacts to cultural resources of Tribal concern with this letter.
