Summary

This document is a transmittal letter between the Department of the Air Force at Vandenberg Air Force Base (VAFB) in California and the Department of Parks and Recreation, Office of Historic Preservation, requesting concurrence with a finding of No Adverse Effect for the installation of the Fiber-Optic Cable System on North Vandenberg. VAFB also requests concurrence on the finding that sites CA-SBA-935, CA-SBA-2321, and CA-SBA-3503 are eligible for inclusion on the National Register of Historic Places (NRHP), and that sites CA-SBA-3036 and 2345 are not elible for inclusion. The request is made per Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966 (NHPA), the Archaeological Resources Protection Act (ARPA), and Air Force Instruction 32-7065.
