Summary
This document is a response from the State Historic Preservation Officer (SHPO) to a previous letter seeking concurrence for the Area of Potential Effect (APE) and a finding of no adverse effect for the San Antonio Water Treatment Plant to Main Reservoir Bypass Project on Vandenberg Space Force Base, California. While the SHPO concurred with the project APE the SHPO made several requests for additional information including 1) descriptions of archaeological sites CA-SBA-1086 AND -1923 and the specific construction activities to occur near or on these resources, 2) justification that further identification efforts are not warranted, and 3) the effort seeking information from consulting parties and Tribes.
