Summary

This document is a report presenting the results of an archaeological investigation of approximately 785 acres which include Point Sal and adjoining properties to the north, south, and east. The investigations include an archaeological survey of the project area, background research into the archaeology and early history, and an assessment of all cultural resources in the Pt. Sal area. The objectives of this investigation were to locate and record all cultural resources within the study area, assess their individual importance or sensitivity, and develop recommendations for future management.

Provides brief summaries of all sites encountered and includes classifications as functional site types. Also discusses sites in terms of low, medium, and high sensitivity.

A final total of 88 sites were identified and mapped within the study area.
