VAFB-2025-16: Section 110 National Register Eligibility Evaluation of 19 Archaeological Sites on the Rancho Jesus Maria Vandenberg Space Force Base Santa Barbara County, California (2025-X)
Author(s): Eric Nocerino; Josh Smallwood
Year: 2025
Summary
This report is a Section 110 National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) eligibility evaluation for 19 archaeological sites on Rancho Jesus Maria, Vandenberg Space Force Base, California.
The 19 sites were originally situated within the study area of the formerly proposed Vandenberg Dunes Golf Course Project of 2017–2020, but that project was cancelled once all the fieldwork was completed. Sufficient study had been completed to evaluate all 19 sites for NRHP eligibility. The results of that work are included in this report.
