Summary
Two archaeological sites in Rhode Island (19-BR-855 and 19-BR-859) are represented by four charcoal samples submitted for AMS radiocarbon dating. Archaeological investigation suggests 19-BR-859 represents a Middle Archaic occupation, while 19-BR-855 represents a Late Archaic or Middle to Late Woodland occupation.
