This document is a Memorandum of Agreement WHEREAS, the United States Air Force proposes to construct a Space Transportation System at Vandenberg Air Force Base, California; and, WHEREAS, the United States Air Force, in consultation with the California State Historic Preservation Officer, has determined that this undertaking as proposed would have an adverse effect upon archeological sites numbered SBa-539, 670 and 931, properties determined on the authority of the Secretary of the Interior to be eligible for inclusion in the National Register of Historic Places.
