Eglin Air Force Base Shoreline Restoration on Choctawhatchee Bay Hammock Point B Recommendations Report
Summary
This project is part of a series of shoreline restoration projects on Eglin Air Force Base (Eglin AFB) property, along the northern shore of Choctawhatchee Bay. A living shoreline concept is recommended to establish oyster reef and salt marsh habitat that will serve to stabilize severely eroded shoreline resources. Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance (CBA) proposes to undertake this work, conforming to the most efficient and effective restoration science practices.
