Summary

This document is a report that details the archaeological survey of Sudden Flats and associated canyons. The reconaissance survey represented the beginning of a larger project to be conducted at a future date. The project was completed during the month of August, 1969 and consisted of 1. Determination of size and location of shell middens and other cultural materials in the survey area; 2. Determination and classification of the ecological aspects of the survey area; 3. Minor surface collection of shell middens with careful notation of exact position of artifacts; and 4. Brief description and analysis of artifactual materials, with drawings of important finds.
