Summary

Vessel from Awatovi; Awatovi B/Y Bowl. Pottery. Description: overall shape, globular, medium size bowl, rounded base, convex walls, direct rim, flat horizontal lip. Interior: decoration: broad interrupted band below rim , quadrilateral layout of pendant triangular outlines framing other elements. Exterior decoration; Five pendant triangles, bands composed of connected dashes and dots. Several cracks extend from base towards rim. Disposition: Pottery Collection. Gift. Identified by ID + KGB- 3/22/74. Catalogued by PJB-8/8/74. Restoration: cracks amended, three areas patched and repainted prior to receipt. 1 restored bowl. Condition: Restored. Data entered by GGM 3/28/91
