Vessel from Canyon de Chelly; Hopi B& r/y-o-w jar. Payupki Polychrome Jar. Tapered base. Identifiecation by Dr. Colton and Charlie R Steen. Concave base, rounded walls, incurving shoulders, slightly flared neck. Base worn and chipped, walls pitted and cracked, two large chips out of side, rim badly corroded in one area, lip pitted. Interior: badly worn, slip cracked. 2187.E1482. Provenience: Canyon de Chelly1941. Identified by D.A. Breternitz 1958. Recat. By JHK 4/12/79. Value: $ 1.500.00 DV 4/9/97. Periode: 18th century.
