Summary
This is the tDAR Project page that represents Reports of Investigation 002 from the Applied Anthropology Laboratories, Ball State University.
This paper aims to examine the evidence of actual Delaware occupancy within the state of Indiana and compare its extent with those lands claimed by the Delaware in 1779. Which areas of Delaware claim were actually utilized, and which areas of the state not claimed by Delaware did they utilize? Occupancy and use will be the primary focus of this report rather than the validity of the 1779 claim.
