ROI129, A Virtual Window on the Dawn of Indiana Archaeology: Digitizing the Dolan Collection

Summary

This is the tDAR Project page that represents Reports of Investigation 129 from the Applied Anthropology Laboratories, Ball State University.

This project was led in collaboration with the Syracuse-Wawasee Historical Museum. The Applied Anthropology Laboratories were responsible for categorizing, identifying, labeling, and cataloging artifacts in the collection, as well as entering information into a database. The AAL created digital images of every object in the Dolan collection and 3D models of representative examples of each major artifact class and time period. Resources generated from the proposed project were shared on the S-WHM website and through the AAL’s Sketchfab page.

3D models of the artifacts recovered from Report of Investigations 129, A Virtual Window on the Dawn of Indiana Archaeology: Digitizing the Dolan Collection, can be viewed using the following link: https://skfb.ly/oWCCG
