One bulk soil sample and two detrital charcoal samples were examined to recover organic fragments suitable for radiocarbon age determination. These samples were recovered from fluvial terraces along the Middle Fork Feather River and from glacial till exposed above Jamison Creek in the Mohawk Valley, northeastern California. Indian Castle
Indian Castle is located in the town of Danube. Danube is in the New York county of Herkimer. This site occupies a large area on the south bank of the Mohawk River and is now contained within a National Landmark district.
