POLLEN AND MACROFLORAL ANALYSIS AT 48WA893, BIGHORN BASIN WYOMING (2004)
Site 48WA893 is located in the south-central section of the Bighorn Basin in northern Wyoming. The site is situated within the grassland ecotone and was discovered in the borrow pit of a dirt road. The site consists of a living surface containing four hearths, a fire-cracked rock feature, and dispersed heat altered stones. POLLEN AND PHYTOLITH ANALYSIS OF A METATE FROM MEDICINE LODGE CREEK SITE, WYOMING (2003)
The Medicine Lodge Creek site is located on the eastern margin of the Bighorn Basin in north central Wyoming. A metate from the Crow horizon at the site was recovered during backhoe trenching and submitted for pollen and phytolith analysis to identify plants that might have been processed.
