The Air Force is conducting its semi-annual maintenance on ranges 75 and 76. This maintenance includes, among other things, the construction of 38 new targets in areas previously undisturbed (see Maps 1-4). A cultural resources inventory of a 1500-ft long by 50-ft wide corridor (1.7 acres) was conducted in accordance with Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act. The project consists of replacing the existing fiber optic line in the project corridor, with disturbance confined to the area previously disturbed. No historic properties were found.
