An archaeological survey of a proposed 120-acre construction site on the Barrens Plateau was undertaken at the U.S. Air Force, Arnold Engineering and Development Center near Tullahoma, Tennessee, on September 7, 1977. This area is considered highly relevant for interpretation of previous and current research designs in the area.
