Site 5JA1068, a multi-component lithic scatter containing at least two rock-filed hearths and a metate fragment, contains projectile points indicating Late Archaic and Late Prehistoric occupation. Pollen and macrofloral analysis were conducted to identify plants that may have been processed by the Late Archaic and/or Late Prehistoric occupants of this area.

Two pollen columns and a single feature were examined for pollen from 5GA120B in Middle Park. Macrofloral remains and charcoal were also identified from the hearth. Pollen analysis was undertaken to provide paleoenvironmental information specifically for the periods of occupation, such as Folsom, and generally for the Holocene, as well as identification of vegetation change at the Pleistocene/Holocene boundary.
