Summary
Site 5JA1068, a multi-component lithic scatter containing at least two rock-filed hearths
and a metate fragment, contains projectile points indicating Late Archaic and Late Prehistoric
occupation. Pollen and macrofloral analysis were conducted to identify plants that may have
been processed by the Late Archaic and/or Late Prehistoric occupants of this area.
