Site 5AH741 is a small, stratified site located southeast of Denver, Colorado. Radiocarbon dates obtained from features at this site suggest both Middle and Late Archaic occupations. A total of 27 samples were submitted for pollen/starch or macrofloral analysis. A column consisting of seven stratigraphic pollen samples was included in this count. Pollen and macrofloral analyses at the Lamb Springs site on the plains near Denver, Colorado focused on the interpretation of paleoenvironmental conditions. Marshy plants were dominant in the immediate vicinity of the springs and included grasses and sedges during the earliest levels tested.
