This report presents HRA's final data recovery investigations at four prehistoric sites (42WS1748, 42WS4465, 42WS4718, 42WS4472 and 44WS4474) located on the north side of Washington City, in Washington County, Utah. Site 42Ws4283, situated in the St. George Basin of southwestern Utah, represents a Southern Paiute occupation. A 2-sigma radiocarbon age of AD 1420-1650 is reported for this site. Three pollen and one macrofloral samples were examined from a deflated hearth, a mano, and the modern ground surface to describe vegetation in the vicinity at the time of occupation and also identify plants processed in the hearth and with the mano.
