This database includes all field and laboratory data from the Barger Gulch Archaeological Project. It includes all field data from the excavation of Barger Gulch Locality B (5GA915), a Folsom site in Grand County, Colorado It also includes mapping of surface artifacts and auger data. Laboratory analysis data for all lithic artifacts recovered from excavations are also included as are radiocarbon dates from excavations. POLLEN AND MACROFLORAL ANALYSIS AT SITES 42GR2773 AND 42GR2774, GRAND COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETIC FIELD, SOUTHEASTERN UTAH (1998)
Pollen and macrofloral analyses were undertaken to examine Late Archaic and Pueblo II remains at Site 42GR2774 and a Late Archaic feature at Site 42GR2773. Radiocarbon dates indicate that the Late Archaic occupations occurred approximately 1600 to 1640 years ago. The Late Archaic occupations are represented by fill from a bell-shaped pit and a shallow pitstructure at 42GR2774 and by a small, shallow heating or processing pit at 42GR2773.
