From September 13 to December 13, 1976, an archeological crew from the Museum of Northern Arizona surveyed the Arizona portions of two alternate corridors proposed for a 500 kV transmission line by Southern California Edison Company. In April and May 2000, SWCA, Inc., Environmental Consultants (SWCA) conducted cultural resource surveys for EPNG's Line No. 2000 Project, surveying the former All American Pipeline in Cochise, La Paz, Maricopa, Pima, and Pinal counties for the Arizona segment.
