The negatives were from the Historic American Buildings Survey to the Facilities Engineering Office of the Harry Diamond Laboratories. This transmission of photos and documents was "In fulfillment of the Memorandum of Agreement between HABS and Harry Diamond Labs" using the Department of the Interior Statement of Transmittal forms.

A soil sample from Site 44FX736, a historical plantation in Lorton, Virginia, was submitted for pollen analysis. The soil was collected from a terraced garden constructed c. 1784 and maintained until c. 1820 (Paul Inashima, personal communication, June 24, 2011). Pollen analysis was undertaken in an effort to identify the garden plantings.

Predictive Model of 17th Century Sites in the Chesapeake Bay (QU2010.002)
PROJECT Department of Defense Legacy Program.

This project contains artifact inventories, survey photographs, and excavation photographs from Marine Corps Base Quantico. Fort Lee Regional Archaeological Curation Facility also has materials from Fort Eustis (now Joint Base Langley–Eustis) that were collected. This work was done as part of a joint project, funded by the Department of Defense Legacy Program, "Predictive Model of 17th Century Sites in the Chesapeake Bay".
