This is an abstract from the session entitled "Pre-Recorded Video Presentation Paper / Report Submission (General Sessions)", at the 2023 annual meeting of the Society for Historical Archaeology. CSS Georgia was a Civil War ironclad ship stationed near Fort Jackson at the mouth of the Savannah River from October 1862 until the ship was scuttled in December 1864.
