In this report, the results of data recovery efforts conducted for the Palo Verde to Pinal West transmission line project at the Gillespie Dam site, AZ T:13:18 (ASM), in the Gila Bend area of the Gila River are presented. A large collection of plant materials from various sites excavated along the Navajo Power Project Coal Haul Railroad was studied over a period of two years by Neal Lopinot. Most of the collections were examined before he left the St. Louis region to continue his graduate studies.
