The City of Phoenix requested that archaeological testing be conducted at a 25 acre parcel near 28th Street and Southern Avenue in Phoenix. The parcel is within the boundaries of a large prehistoric site known as Las Canopas (AZ T:12:137[ASM]). The project is on private property.
