This report summarizes results and findings of the TRC Mariah volunteer pithouse excavations at LA 53672 (AR-03-03-05-358) conducted in 1996. LA 53672 is an ancestral Puebloan habitation site that dates from the Late Developmental to Coalition period and is one of at least 100 prehistoric sites containing a ceramic component recorded in the valley bottoms and foothills of the Manzanita Mountains.
