On 31 May 1985, a small historic trash scatter was exposed in a construction trench associated with the project to repair the electrical distribution system on F.E. Warren AFB. A cultural resource inventory was conducted by the Office of the Wyoming State Archeologist on the proposed Happy Jack Road at the request of the Wyoming Highway Department. David G. Eckles served as principal investigator and field director for this project. David Reiss and David Eckles performed the survey. Field investigations were conducted on March 20, 1985.
