Site 5EP2 is located in a large rockshelter at the base of a sandstone cliff. The shelter faces approximately west-southwest. Plains Woodland artifacts were noted at the site, and radiocarbon ages of 1350 + 60 BP and 1490 + 60 BP were obtained from the base of the deposits. This site is the only site in the area to yield pottery so far.
