POLLEN AND MACRO FLORAL ANALYSIS AT THE GRUB SITE, 48SW11644, WYOMING (1999)
DOCUMENT Full-Text Linda Scott Cummings. Curtis Nepstad-Thornberry. Thomas E. Moutoux. Kathryn Puseman.

Site 48SW11644 exhibits two occupational components reflecting occupation during the Opal phase (6290-5920 BP) and again much later during the transition between the Deadman Wash and Uinta phases (1830-1535 BP). Pollen and/or macrofloral analyses were conducted on sediment removed from large, slab-lined hearths, slabs lining the hearths, occupational surfaces, and groundstone to understand plant processing activities associated with these features and tools.
