The proposed right-of-way alignment for the Concho Wellfield access road to well C-24 was surveyed for archaeological resources. No sites were found during this survey, and archaeological clearance for the C-24 access road is recommended.

The Museum of Northern Arizona conducted an intensive survey for cultural resources at the proposed site of the Concho Pipeline Booster Station and an adjacent access road located north of St. Johns, Apache County, Arizona. Although the area is overlain by abundant pebbles from the Shinarump conglomerate member of the Chinle Formation which would provide lithic resources, no artifacts or sites were found. Archaeological clearance is recommended for the area of proposed action.

The Museum of Northern Arizona conducted an intensive survey of the proposed Coronado-Concho Wellfield Distribution transmission line in two phases: 1) a preliminary survey of the entire line (0.75 mi.), and 2) a specific inspection of over 18 pole locations. Three sites have been recorded within the project area. The direct impact of the proposed construction is insignificant; however, the indirect impact of vehicular traffic is considerable. Provisional clearance is recommended.
