This poster presents the findings from a preliminary survey of the site of Cerro San Antonio in the middle Locumba Valley on the far southern coast of Peru. Ethnohistoric sources suggest limited agrarian potential, yet the site of Cerro San Antonio shows evidence for over 25 hectares of occupation dating from the Formative through Inca Periods.
