Communities of Engaged Performance: Investigating Soundscapes and the Sonorous Past (2018)
The relationship between individuals and urban soundscapes can tell us about the personhood and sonic practices of people in the past. This paper explores an alternative method for examining ephemeral aspects of material culture, such as sound, in the production processes of ceramic pre-Columbian aerophone construction.
