It has come to the attention of the Texas Historical Commission that inappropriate new porch railings were installed at the ground floor on some of the housing units at Infantry Post. The Commission writes this correspondence with the suggestion that Fort Sam Houston collaborate with the Commission to determine a method to remediate the visual adverse effect caused by these railings.
