This document includes contract design elements for the upgrade of the COBRA DANE facility to support the Ground Based Mid-Course Defense (GMD) System. The COBRA DANE radar is located on the island of Shemya, Alaska. The facility is a 68,000SF, 100-foot tall, structure comprised of a single face phased array radar.
