An archaeological survey of 56.7 acres of property situated within Kirtland Air Force Base (KAFB), Bernalillo County, New Mexico, yielded no significant cultural resources. During April 1993, Advanced Sciences, Inc. conducted a cultural resource and threatened and endangered species survey of six proposed and existing Lightning Early Warning System (LEWS) sensor locations scattered throughout land leased by Sandia National Laboratories/New Mexico (SNL/NM).
