This is an abstract from the session entitled "Digital Approaches in Nautical Archaeology", at the 2023 annual meeting of the Society for Historical Archaeology. When the FaroArm-Rhino Archaeology Users Group (FRAUG) was founded in 2007 more than seven years of digital recording of ship-timbers had been conducted.
