Kirtland Air Force Base is the location of abundant archaeological sites found in the Manzanita Mountains and lower slopes east of the Rio Grande. This is a proposal to carry out limited subsurface testing at LA 152577 for the purpose of collecting sediment and soils data to contribute to understanding the geomorphology of Kirtland Air Force Base.
