Archaeological testing was conducted by Desert Archaeology, Inc., at the location of the proposed Federal Building and United States Courthouse in Tucson, Arizona. Prior to testing, an archival study indicated that the property had been used as agricultural fields and stables before 1912, as a park and for railroad activities from 1913 to the mid-1930s, and as the location of a hospital from the mid-1930s to 1979.
