Between June 25 and July 12, 2019, Cardno conducted a Phase I archaeological survey at the request of the 19th Airlift Wing at Little Rock Air Force Base. The Base proposes to repair by replacement Runway 07-25 and associated overruns. No prehistoric cultural resources were encountered during the course of the archaeological investigation. Site form for 3PU1041. Site 3PU1041 consists of a surface scatter of historic artifacts in an area approximately 24.3 meters (80 feet) by 16. 7 meters (55 feet). All artifacts were fragmentary and none contained makers marks or strongly diagnostic morphologies. No evidence of historic features was observed at the site.
