In 1995, Geo-Marine, Inc., under contract to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Tulsa District, conducted an archeological survey of Little Rock Air Force Base, Pulaski County, Arkansas, and associated lands. As a result of this intensive survey, 37 previously unrecorded archeological sites and 16 non-site localities or isolated finds were located and recorded on Little Rock AFB. Site form for 3PU0436. Site 3PU0436 is a historic residence or farmstead. Although the site has been severely impacted by bulldozing, two features remained to be identified. Feature 1 is a cistern, built of dressed, stacked-sandstone. Feature 2 appears to be a sandstone foundation. Unfortunately, the site only has an estimated 5-8% contextual integrity remaining, making it ineligible for inclusion on the NRHP. No further work is required.
