In 1995, Geo-Marine, Inc., under contract to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Tulsa District, conducted an archeological survey of Little Rock Air Force Base, Pulaski County, Arkansas, and associated lands. The site area appears to have been clear cut, which may have promoted erosion and thus explaining the lack of soils at the site.
