It was determined that a portion of subject project was not in compliance. Clearance had been obtained previously for the High Energy Research and Technology Facility (HERTF) Site proper. However, the Department of Defense (DOD) constructed the 46KV powerline prior to obtaining clearance. Areas involved in the powerline construction and access were systematically walked and visually inspected. Alignments were considered to be approximately 50 feet wide and were surveyed in strips 15-20 apart....

This report covers the results of a survey prior to the live fire range expansion. Six sites and several isolated finds were found. Three of the sites were determined to require fencing off while all of the sites were flagged for avoidance.
