In August 1996 the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Vernal Office requested that Sagebrush Consultants, L.L.C. (Sagebrush) recover a historic ammunition cache in Daggett County, Utah. The cache was located on BLM lands near the John Jarvie Historic Property in Brown's Park. This request was particularly urgent because of concerns that the exposed site could be vandalized should its location become public knowledge.
